Support

Dealing with Trauma is very specialized and unique for each person. I've tried to provide some tips with wide application to help get people started.

Step

Reach out to a local support network and help unpack your emotions. We're happy to help in whatever way we can, but the best support is the one that comes from people in your neighbourhood! If no one you know can help then reach out to someone new. It's scary and some people won't be helpful, but what if you find someone who can help?

1

Step

Learn good habits. Those who don't learn from their mistakes are bound to repeat them. You can't use information that you don't have and if you're using wrong information then it won't get you the results you're looking for. 2

Step

Choose to make better decisions. We don't choose everything that happens to us, but we have a choice about how we respond. Choose to make the best decisions you can and learn from any past mistakes. Take responsibility for the things that are your responsibility and accept that you can only change yourself.
